ZACHARY McDONALD

“There is nothing impossible to him who will try.” – Alexander the Great

Zachary McDonald

My name is Zachary, and I am a full-time employee at Aitken Robertson. After doing excellent work in the paralegal program at Loyalist College in Belleville, I graduated and became a licensed paralegal under the Law Society of Ontario in September 2021.

My greatest passions growing up were history and fantasy, whether they were in the form of books, TV shows, video games, or movies. I was somewhat of an underachiever throughout elementary and high school. After high school, I worked odd jobs from year to year before deciding to go back to school in 2017. I chose the Law Clerk program on a whim, not knowing what to expect, and I ended up loving it and the world of law that I previously knew nothing about. After completing that program, a mentor advised me to go back to school to become a paralegal, and that’s exactly what I did.

My current passions are politics, law, creative writing, and debate. I am certain I will be prime minister someday. If you ever need your ear talked off about politics, I’m your man. I also love to learn – anything and everything. I also consider myself a lover of films, although I rarely have time to watch any.

However, my greatest loves are my three children, who are the sole reason I returned to school in the first place.
