VIRGINIA DOLINSKA
As dedicated criminal defence lawyer, I earned a J.D. at the University of Ottawa, articled under Richard Aitken, and I now lead the firm’s operations in the Kingston, Belleville, and Ottawa offices full-time. I immigrated to Canada from Eastern Europe at a young age and I keep those challenges in mind as I assist those facing challenges of their own.
Called to the Bar in Ontario in 2017
I joined Aitken Robertson in 2016 after graduating with a Juris Doctor degree from the University of Ottawa. My articling principal was Richard Aitken. Before entering law school I earned an Honours Bachelor of Social Science (double major) degree in Criminology and History.
My advocacy style is vigorous defence above all. As a young child I immigrated to Canada from Eastern Europe; a difficult journey with great challenges. I learned how to stay persistent and work extremely hard on what is important to me. I came to know first-hand what it’s like when all odds are against you. As a criminal defence counsel, I take pride in knowing that my clients have confidence in me and in the quality of service that I provide.
My practice is exclusively restricted to criminal law. I represent individuals charged with all criminal offences within Ontario.
I am looking forward to working with you.
