  • J.D., University of Ottawa, 2016
  • B.A., (Honours Double Major) Criminology & History, University of Ottawa, 2013

I joined Aitken Robertson in 2016 after graduating with a Juris Doctor degree from the University of Ottawa. My articling principal was Richard Aitken. Before entering law school I earned an Honors Bachelor of Social Science (double major) degree in Criminology and History.

My advocacy style is vigorous defence above all. As a young child I immigrated to Canada from Eastern Europe; a difficult journey with great challenges. I learned how to stay persistent and work extremely hard on what is important to me. I came to know first-hand when all odds are against you. As a criminal defence counsel, I take pride knowing my clients are confident in me and in the quality of service I provide.

My practice is exclusively restricted to criminal law. I represent individuals charged with all criminal offences within Ontario.

I am looking forward to working with you.

Please note: Virginia Dolinska is practising in affiliation with Aitken Robertson Professional Corporation.

Virginia Dolinska is a lawyer and is licensed by the Law Society of Ontario.

As my first offence, and a severe one at that, I was beyond stressed and I did not know where to turn. I came across Aitken & Robertson, and I am so glad that I did. I have nothing but positive words to say for this firm and particularly my lawyer, Virginia Dolinska. The firm is prompt with personable contact, and support. I am very pleased with Virginias knowledge and guidance. She takes the time to thoroughly explain the process, expectations and potential outcomes. Conversing with her, she is straight forward and honest. As uncomfortable as this process is, Virginia made it easier on myself and in turn, my family. In the event of an unfortunate circumstance where you find yourself needing a lawyer, you won’t be disappointed with the service provided at Aitken & Robertson.
