I had a great experience with this law firm during a very difficult time. Virginia Dolinska is an AMAZING lawyer and was professional, knowledgeable, and truly cared about helping me through the process. Zachary McDonald was also incredibly helpful and supportive as the lawyer’s assistant, always making sure everything stayed organized and clear. Susan Cornett at reception was kind, welcoming, and responsive every time I called. The whole team made a stressful situation much easier, and I’m very grateful for their hard work and dedication. The team at Aikten-Robertson is beyond professional and helpful. My boyfriend recently faced a DUI charge that we were scared could eventually lead to deportation since he was not a Canadian citizen.

His lawyer, Edmund Chan, and Zachary, were incredibly easy to work with, very responsive, and very helpful. They took the time to chat with us on multiple occasions, connected us with the right people,  gave us good advice and suggestions, and reached out to us with updates and new ideas even when it seemed they had forgotten about us. They truly helped us navigate the uncertainties of the legal system. We initially thought we would be going to trial, but the case actually ended with a settlement, with criminal charges dropped. We couldn't have asked for better.

At first we were very hesitant about getting a lawyer, but in the end, realized that none of this would have been possible without Mr. Chan and his team.

We were in an absolute bind looking for the right lawyer for my son. As we were about to give up our search for the night, we contacted Ms. Virginia Dolinska from the Aitken Robertson Law Firm.
Within minutes we received a call back for an appointment the next day. The rest is history. I want to commend Ms. Dolinska's work as well as the support of the rest of the Team namely Mr. Zachary McDonald and Ms, Susan Cornett.

I received outstanding service from Aitken Robertson Law. I was charged with robbery by the police, while my version of the story was completely different. I was in shock and very afraid. I contacted this law firm, and I immediately got a call back from from Richard assuring me that they would do everything they  could to help me. He listened and heard my side of the story. Melanie and Richard were amazing with helping me get through the emotional part and giving me professional legal advice. My file was quickly given to Virginia Dolinska who was assigned to be my lawyer and represent me. She said she would be appearing at all my court appearances for me and that I would not have to be present. I feared losing my job. Zachary was amazing keeping me informed about all the appearances. Virginia said she would try to get the best outcome for me, of which she did. After a few months, she called me to say that the crown will withdraw the charge and are willing to provide me with a 12 month peace bond, Which meant no criminal record for me. Therefor. I could keep my job. Wow, from robbery to a peace bond. I was so happy and had happy tears. Virginia's hard work and dedication to help me will never be forgotten. She said she would do her best, and that she did. Also, Suzie was very helpful providing me with a manageable payment plan. Thank you Aitken Robertson Law for all of your help, compassion and dedication. I would recommend your law firm to anyone.

Being accused and charged with a serious offence is a life paralyzing event for anyone. Finding the right Law Firm to take charge of your matter is absolutely essential. I can say with the utmost conviction that Aitken Robertson are the best.
Not knowing who to turn to, I reviewed a number of Law Firms on the internet. I made the fortunate decision to contact Aitken Robertson. It was the best decision of my life, hands down. Left a voice mail and Richard contacted me the same day. He was very good in explaining to me what I was up against and likely to expect. He followed up with me during the initial 2 1/2 years of a painful journey and ensured I was placed in good hands. Susan was always available to make sure I was kept informed.
Everyone working on my case were beyond excellent. Their hard work and professionalism gave me comfort and assurance. Chandeep, Zachary and Jaspreet all did an exceptional job preparing me for the hearing and trial. Edmund was my Trial Lawyer. He is beyond amazing...I can't say enough.

Everyone at this firm has been incredibly helpful, sympathetic and open minded. Never in our lives have we been in a serious situation with such life threatening charges that we were facing. With the help of Aitken Robertson and their team we had hope. Virginia Dolinska and her assistant Zachary MacDonald made a tremendous amount of work towards my husbands case, along with their associate Chandeep Nagi. Everyones work was absolutely exceptional. They managed to have all charges dropped after months of work and effort put into this case.

I can not say enough regarding the level of service I received and the sentencing Virginia negotiated. You can also make payment arrangements that are easy and affordable. This was my first time dealing with the legal system, I was falsely charged, under shock and devastated with the charges laid against me by my spouse. I did a lot of research looking for a strong firm in Kingston and am really fortunate for being  assigned Virginia and Zachary. The case is still ongoing, but Zachary and Virginia helped me a lot, especially that I had so many questions, answering me with a professional and caring way. Highly recommended and hopefully a positive outcome soon.

Update: After 8 months of being falsely charged, Virginia was able to get all the charges dropped by way of peace bond. I was happy with the outcome and ready to get my life back. Zachary helped a lot too. They both were always attentive to my long emails and gave me easy explanations. They would get back to me the same day, maximum the next. I knew I was in good hands and am very pleased with Aitken Robertson services and would definitely recommend to family and friends. Thank you Virginia and Zachary.
