My legal journey began when I started pursuing a degree in B.A.LL.B (Hons.) in India. The eagerness to learn more and excavate new findings in the justice system led me to pursue a Masters in Law. But I did not stop there and my appetite for legal knowledge made me further dive into the legal intricacies and pursue a Doctorate in Law.

I have experience of almost five years in the legal profession. I worked as an Assistant Professor of Law for almost four years in India. The challenges of the profession gave me a new perspective in understanding the various aspects of law with an analytical outlook. I am a licensed lawyer in India with experience of more than a year. Presently, I am a Ph.D. research scholar working on “Intellectual Property Rights and Artificial Intelligence–An Analytical Study.”

Practising law brings with it new challenges. Currently I am working as a law clerk for Aitken Robertson and am in the process of becoming a lawyer in Canada. At Aitken Robertson, each day is a new legal expedition. You experience, you learn and you grow. Being a foreign trained lawyer, understanding and merging into a different legal system is an enriching journey. I have been polishing my skills to analyse, understand, conclude and communicate in a better way with each passing day. With the professional approach being adopted by the lawyers at Aitken Robertson, my fondness towards criminal law has been growing deeper.

I strongly believe that a lawyer is always a student of law. The day a person stops learning is the day the person stops growing. Being an explorer of law, I am still exploring the various aspects of criminal law and the criminal justice system.
