Mr. Tekenos-Levy became a lawyer in 2016 after having conducted his articles of Clerkship with Aitken Robertson. He completed his undergraduate degree in Criminology at Saint Mary’s University in Halifax, Nova Scotia. In 2009, Jordan was recipient of a Scottish Saltire Scholarship and as such, went on to complete a Master’s degree in Human Rights and International Politics from the University of Glasgow. His Master’s dissertation is entitled, “Prisoner Conditions in the US, UK, and Canada: A Comparative Analysis of Human Rights Law Adherence.”
In 2014, Mr. Tekenos-Levy graduated from the University of Edinburgh School of Law. At Law School, he was elected President of the Graduate Law Society and named associate captain of the University’s varsity hockey team. Mr. Tekenos-Levy is a member of the Hastings County Law Association, the Durham Regional Law Association, the Carleton County Law Association, the Frontenac Law Association, and is the current Vice-President of the Kingston Criminal Defence Lawyer’s Association.
Mr. Tekenos-Levy now oversees all criminal and DUI files in Eastern Ontario for the Firm. In the spirit of Aitken Robertson’s team approach, Mr. Tekenos-Levy continues to works closely with founding partner Mr. Richard Aitken and other senior counsel from the Firm.
Outside of the office, Mr. Tekenos-Levy enjoys everything sport-related and believes in the importance of a healthy balanced lifestyle. Jordan enjoys travel, reading and writing, singing, and spending his free time with friends and family. Jordan’s all-time favourite novel is “The Count of Monte Cristo”.
