Drug Offences: Controlled Substances

What is a controlled substance? A controlled substance is any substance that fits within one of the schedules in the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act. It’s essentially a substance that parliament has turned its mind to and deemed it to be not a substance that they want the public to be possessing openly, right. It’s a substance that Parliament’s essentially sought to restrict and again if it falls into one of the categories or one of the schedules in the CDSA, possession is most likely illegal.
