Pornography Charges: Defining Child Pornography

So in Canada, when we are talking about child pornography, we are talking about possession of child pornography, we are talking about accessing child pornography, we are talking about the making of child pornography as well as distribution, which does include the sale. Now the core of child pornography laws is age. In order for something to be categorized as child pornography, the visual or the person who is depicted has to be under the age of 18, that’s one. Or two, the definition can also capture situations where the person who is depicted is acting as if he or she would be under the age of 18 and of course all of that has to be in a sexual content.
