Assault Charges: Assault with a Weapon

Assault with a weapon is an assault under the Criminal Code of Canada and it is administered under Section 267 of the Criminal Code of Canada. What separates assault with a weapon from a regular assault is that the application of force or the attempted application of force was applied using a weapon, meaning that the individual who is accused of the crime, it is alleged, did not merely strike the other individual with a component of their body.
