Nathan Baker received his Bachelor of Arts degree summa cum laude, with a joint major in Ancient Greek and Roman Studies and Philosophy from Trent University in 2003.
Mr. Baker then attended Queen’s University in Kingston, where he graduated with his Law degree in 2006. He completed his articles with Aitken Robertson, at which time he gained valuable insight into criminal law driving offences. Prior to articling, Mr. Baker spent summers with the firms of Thomas Cole, and Grant, Wilcox Whetung, where he gained experience in diverse areas of law. He was called to the bar in 2007.
As a lifelong local resident, Mr. Baker has acquired great knowledge of the local court system through his work while articling and as a summer student. Mr. Baker has had particular success fighting impaired boating cases, and he is often sought after by the media to give his opinion as to newsworthy topics relating to impaired driving.
